About My Work
Here I'll just be going more in depth with some of the creative work I do, either for work or as a hobby; this is just for your knowledge, if you would like more background to my body of work. My interest and constant thirst for improvement in a variety of mediums pushes me to work hard, but I dedicate my time and narrow focus to the task at hand; my drive keeps me constantly occupied with projects, and I'm always working on something!
Animation
2D animation is one of my main drives; I've been pursuing animation for years since my interest as a child and constantly strive to learn and improve from as many sources and other works as I can. Character work is my focus above all, and I love handling dynamic expression, color, and symbolism. I am no stranger to darker and mature themes, so I'm quite open!
I lead the storyboards and animation for my own collaborative project, a web series in development called Grimoire, co-created with my partner as Studio BXR. The project is currently on hold to undergo some major restructuring, but existing material can be found at the studio Twitter @StudioBXR and YouTube (Studio BXR). We've decided to give the project more time and serious reconsideration to our approach to ensure it will be the greatest we can make it, as a piece that's very dear to us both.
If you would like to see more of my animation work, I'd be happy to provide it upon request.
Comics
As the first medium which got me serious about pursuing art, I've returned to my love of comics in the recent years with all the knowledge and inspirations I've gained since--I'm mainly focused on a solo series I've been working on since 2018 called My Betrothed Is A Dragon, as well as a shorter project called Tipping the Scales, linked for more info.
Other comic work I've done includes a little side project I started years ago called Oddities, which I hope to do more with in the future, and the art for one of the prequel comics to Phantasmagia by Kaibuzetta--more about that project and prequel comics can be found here!
Writing
For as long as I've taken art seriously, writing has gone hand-in-hand to form my love of visual sequential storytelling. It's shaped my passion for comics and animation, and is inseparable from the projects I do. I managed to publish a book I wrote as a young teenager, for a series I still hold dear, but it may be given new life in a different way sometime in the future. I've been writing for every screenplay of Grimoire along with my co-writer, and written every chapter for Betrothed and Scales independently, in addition to other works of varying scope and length; screenplay is definitely my most frequented form of writing and what I feel most comfortable with, given the nature of my current work.
